Undertaker May Be Called Out Of Retirement By Big Name

The Undertaker retired last year, but Wrestlevotes is reporting that Vince McMahon could call him out of retirement if he feels he needs him for the two night WrestleMania, which reportedly already has Goldberg and John Cena set to wrestle on the card. Brock Lesnar’s status was just revealed.

Wrestlevotes said, “Once a decision was made to run the 2 night card for Mania, the creative team started working on ‘bigger’ ideas. Thought is WWE now needs 4 MAJOR matches, 2 per show. That probably requires outside assistance from big names. Cena & Goldberg nearly locks. Rock unlikely. Taker TBD.”

“Follow up on the Taker part. Majority of those backstage think he’s done. And rightfully so. However, it only takes one call, from one usually conVINCing man to change all that.”

They also reported about the attendance, “WWE is planning on permitting upwards of 25,000 fans for WrestleMania on each night. The real internal discussions are what to do after. Some would like a soft ‘reopening’ of the touring schedule for Live TVs as continuing the ThunderDome post Mania comes with location headaches.”

John Cena has not wrestled a proper WWE match since January 2019. Goldberg is set to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble, a year after he beat Bray Wyatt for the Universal Title at Super Showdown.
