Undertaker ‘Shocked’ By Stephanie McMahon Announcement

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has been in the business for three decades and have formed friendships with several people during his tenure as WWE in-ring competitor. In an interview with Sportskeeda, the legendary superstar opened up about the close bond he shares with Shane and Stephanie McMahon.

During the 1990s, The Deadman had already established himself as one of the top stars in WWE. This was around the same time when Vince McMahon’s children started appearing on-screen as characters. Although his WWE persona often faced conflicts with Shane and Stephanie, they had a good rapport off-camera.

The Undertaker recently received the inaugural Bill Apter Legacy Award, presented by Sportskeeda. After being handed the prestigious honor, the 58-year-old told Apter how he views the McMahons like family members:

“They’re like little brothers and sisters to me. But that doesn’t change. I still have relationships obviously with Shane and Stephanie and their kids, so that never changes.”

Stephanie McMahon’s career had a very memorable moment on the RAW episode of April 26, 1999. She was kidnapped by The Undertaker and was almost forced to marry him before Stone Cold Steve Austin rescued her.

Shane McMahon also had his own share of battles with The Deadman, and in 1999, he even formed an alliance with him. The Corporation, led by Vince McMahon, joined forces with The Ministry of Darkness to create The Corporate Ministry.

Later in their careers, Shane McMahon and The Undertaker faced each other in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, which The Phenom won.
