Undertaker SummerSlam Return Rumor Revealed

The Undertaker was rightly inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year. ‘The Phenom’ last competed at SummerSlam in 2015 when he defeated his arch-rival Brock Lesnar. Though Taker is fully retired, he had teased during his induction speech that a return can’t be completely ruled out. With SummerSlam taking place tonight, speculations surrounding a return of the iconic star is floating.

The Undertaker might return at SummerSlam

Ahead of tonight’s SummerSlam 2022, Mike Johnson of PWInsider commented on the odds of The Undertaker making an appearance on the show. He stated that The Phenom is in Nashville, the venue of SummerSlam, so an appearance is possible:

“Well, he’s in Nashville, so anything can happen but it’s not something that has made the rounds,” reported Mike Johnson.

It has been noted that as part of SummerSlam weekend, WWE announced The Phenom’s show in Nashville named “1 deadMan Show.” The show took place last night and PWInsider has provided some notes on what happened in it.

The Hall of Famer had a meet-and-greet with his fans and signed photos. However, it was noted that the fans were made to lock their phones before the show to avoid any footage being leaked on the internet. The report added that his wife Michelle McCool was there with their daughters and so was Michael Hayes.

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently reacted to the reports emerging that WWE RAW might switch back to TV-14 rating which had thrilled the fans. It is believed that RAW could be possibly moving to edgier content. WWE briefly listed their upcoming premium live event on Peacock, SummerSlam, as TV-14 before reverting it to TV-PG. ‘The Phenom’ reckons it is a good idea. We will have to see if he makes a surprise appearance at ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer.’
