The Undertaker booked for Starrcast II during AEW Double or Nothing weekend

It was reported last week that The Undertaker would begin taking non-WWE bookings soon. Now, it seems that the Deadman has taken an interesting booking opportunity, joining All Elite Wrestling for Starrcast II.

Sports Illustrated broke the news earlier today that Mark Calaway, billed as The Undertaker, had officially come to terms on a deal to make an appearance at the event on May 25th. Conrad Thompson assured SI that Starrcast wasn’t solely an AEW event, and this didn’t mean that the Phenom would make any appearances for AEW in the future.

I know people might assume this is an AEW event, but that’s not true. We have wrestlers appearing from every promotion from all over the world, and Starrcast isn’t just for All Elite Wrestling fans, it’s for all fans.

The Undertaker is synonymous with wrestling and generations of wrestling fans have grown up with The Undertaker. We wanted to bring something unique to Las Vegas ,and there isn’t anyone more special in this business than him.

Thompson went on to say that his appearance would be a standalone experience.
