We noted before how after being defeated by Roman Reigns at the No Mercy PPV, John Cena is not advertised for the next Raw PPV TLC, and it was rumored that he will be taking some time off.
Now Dave Meltzer has confirmed these reports in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, revealing that Cena is taking time off from WWE. He will not be appearing on Raw in near future and miss the upcoming PPV as well.
According to Dave, the Cenation Leader would return once again for the Survivor Series PPV in November, though the exact date of his return is not known yet.
Currently, there is no news on what the company has in store for the 16-time world champion once he returns though according to some rumors he could return to the SmackDown Live Brand and feud with the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
