Both Drake Maverick and Sarah Logan were released by the WWE last week alongside a large number of on-screen talent and backstage employees. However, both these Superstars have been featured on WWE TV this week despite their release.
We previously reported that WWE might use released Superstars in some capacity due to the 90-day no-compete clauses attached to their contracts. However, many are speculating that these two Superstars could be back on their way to the company after their matches on RAW and NXT this week.
What further fueled these speculations was Drake Maverick’s appearance on WWE’s The Bump where he said that he is going to prove the person who fired him wrong.
Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that both the company has no plans to rehire these Superstars but still plans to use them in the coming weeks.
Fans have been rallying on social media for Maverick to be rehired by the company and Logan’s performance on RAW received positive reviews as well.
