At AEW Fight For The Fallen, Maxwell Jacob Friedman took part in a six-man tag match and reports suggested that he suffered an injury during the match. However, it seems the severity of the injury is not what was initially thought.
In fact, MJF’s injury is not even an injury, but he only “banged up his elbow.” According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp, MJF wanted to take a break and recuperate after bumping his elbow as he has a major match against Cody Rhodes in AAA that will happen soon.
I’m told @The_MJF’s elbow injury isn’t as serious as some are leading on. He banged up his elbow and decided to rest it ahead of his AAA tag team match with his “mentor” Cody Rhodes
MJF is an integral part of AEW and will be needed for AEW’s debut on TNT, so him staying as healthy as possible is very important.
