Sonya Deville was a victim of a stalker by the name of Philip A Thomas. He invaded her home and attempted to abduct her but thankfully, his attempt was thwarted and he was arrested. However, he continued to harass Deville by having his mail forwarded to her home.
She had a restraining order issued against him and now it seems it will be a permanent thing. According to a report by Fox 13 Tampa Bay, a hearing was held yesterday. During the hearing, Deville’s temporary protection injunction against Thomas was extended indefinitely until his criminal trial concludes.
Thomas will be appearing before a court in December where he will be answering for his charges of Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief. A public prosecutor will be defending him.
