Update on Samoa Joe’s return

When the reports of Samoa Joe suffering a knee injury first came out it was reported that the former NXT Champion can miss 4-6 weeks of action, though it appears he’ll stay out of action for a little longer.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Joe is expected to stay out of action for the rest of September and he will return to the ring at the end of October.

If these reports are true, then Joe will miss almost 8 weeks of action and he will not appear on the upcoming Raw Exclusive PPV No Mercy and most likely miss the TLC PPV as well.

Samoa Joe suffered a knee injury during a match with John Cena on a Live Event about 2 weeks ago. Prior to his injury, Joe was scheduled to face John Cena in a one on one match on the August 28th episode of Raw.

This match was nixed after the former Champion suffered the injury and currently, it’s not known what the company has in store for the Samoan Submission Machine after his return.
