The Samoan Submission Machine has been out of action since January 8th, when Samoa Joe took on Rhyno. Although he won the match, Joe would end up suffering a right foot injury, keeping him away from the ring for almost three months.
According to WrestlingInc, Joe has been added to an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. The former NXT Champion will make an appearance in Hartford, Connecticut, on April 16th.
It was rumored that Roman Reigns’ first opponent for his title post WrestleMania will be Samoa Joe, and although nothing has been confirmed, returning a week after WrestleMania will put him in the perfect spot for that feud.
