Update on Sunny’s Sentence, Details on Probation Violation

According to a report from PWInsider, WWE Hall Of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch will be sentenced on Friday, November 18th in Carbon County, PA by Judge Joseph J Matika for her recent probation violations. She has been imprisoned since September 23rd earlier this year.

On August 18th Sunny was sentenced for DUI charges in 2015, and spent 95 days in rehab as a result. Judge Matika sentenced Sunny to serve 97 days to 5 years in prison, however, he did give her credit for time served (95 days in rehab & 2 days in jail). She then was placed on probation and was brought in bi-weekly for drug and alcohol testing. Matika warned Sunny that she would be sent to prison if she violated her probation, as there is a no tolerance policy for any substance abuse. She was also ordered to pay $2,100 in fines, $1,000 in court costs, $50 per month to cover probation costs, had her drivers license suspended, and was given 125 hours of community service.

A little less than three weeks after the sentencing, Sunny was charged with receiving stolen property on September 5th. A week later on September 12th she was then charged with alcohol possession and being under the influence of alcohol. On the same day Sunny was rushed to the hospital from her home by ambulance to a hospital in Palmerton, PA, to where she soon after indicated on Facebook it was due to previous pancreas issues she had suffered before.

She was released from the hospital on September 20th but was hospitalized once again on September 23rd after police were called to her home where she was again intoxicated, marking her third probation violation. From the hospital she was transferred to the Carbon County Correctional Facility where she has been to this day. After being warned of the zero tolerance policy for alcohol intoxication by the judge before, Sunny could be heading to the slammer for a significant amount of time.
