The United States Title has now become GLORIOUS, as Bobby Roode has captured his first main roster title.
On Smackdown Live, Jinder Mahal defeated Xavier Woods to move onto the finals. Bobby Roode would beat Mojo Rawley later in the night, only to be attacked by the Singh Brothers.
After the assault, Jinder came out to talk trash, telling Roode that his success will come to an end next week. Roode instead challenged Jinder to finish the tournament tonight, and it seemed that the general manager liked that idea.
Daniel Bryan came out after Jinder declined the offer, and told Mahal, Roode, and the WWE Universe that the finals would take place tonight.
CHANGE OF PLANS! @REALBobbyRoode suggested it, and @WWEDanielBryan liked it…
