Velveteen Dream refuses to work in NXT

WWE is going through troubling times right now. With All Elite Wrestling being announced and some major stars such as Chris Jericho signing with AEW, WWE is trying its best to hold onto all the talent in the company. However, superstars such as The Revival asked for their release and other superstars were reportedly unhappy in the company.

 


 

It seems one more superstar is unhappy with the company.

NXT Superstar The Velveteen Dream took to Twitter and said that he knows his worth, and pointed out that he is not booked on the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event. He also stated that there will not be any more appearances from Dream or his likeness.

Until WE* can come 2 an agreement as 2 what MY WORTH actually is, there won’t be any appearances or performances from

my likeness.

It is not known if this is kayfabe or not. However, Dream has gotten heat backstage in the past over his tweets. Perhaps there is more to this than we think. We will keep you updated on this interesting situation regarding Velveteen Dream.
