Vickie Guerrero came to AEW to be the manager for Nyla Rose. Now it seems she will be a permanent member of the AEW roster.
Guerrero and WWE had a falling out, where the company prevented WWE Superstars from appearing on her podcast following her AEW appearance. Since then, she made more AEW appearances and now she has officially signed a contract with the company.
During an interview with Daily DDT, Vickie Guerrero confirmed that she has signed with AEW, but did not mention any details about the contract. She revealed she did not hesitate to sign with the company instead of returning to WWE.
No hesitation, put it that way. I retired from WWE in 2014. My focus was not to return to them. We just had a lot of just difference of opinions and things going on. If it wasn’t going to be for AEW, I don’t think I would be anywhere else, but when AEW presented that there was some opportunity, I gave 100%, just my whole being. I said, ‘I’m here for you and I can’t wait to be a team player with the company.’”
Guerrero is a veteran in her role as a manager, so fans can certainly look forward to what she does with Nyla Rose.
