John Cena appeared on the NBC “Today” show on Tuesday to promote his new movie, “Sisters.” Here is a recap of his appearance, which did not include any talk of WWE.
On how he got the role:
“They needed a big guy to be an intimidating drug dealer, and away we go.”
On appearing in several comedy films:
“I like to have fun and usually in comedy it’s about making people laugh and having fun,” he said. I like doing it, and I’ve gotten a few opportunities, and this one a really funny movie and I think everybody is going to love it.”
