Vince McMahon ‘Ending’ TV PG In WWE?

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is very particular about the words in the programming. WWE is seemingly eyeing to garner a younger demographic and those people in the precious 18 to 49 demographic love curses. Dirty jokes and the occasional S Bomb are now making their way onto Vince McMahon’s television shows, but there is a limit.

It was previously reported that Vince McMahon pitched more curses on NXT 2.0. He also suggested revealing female attire, because that 18 to 49 demographic needs to be restored. WWE Star Broke Down Crying After Rey Mysterio Match

Ringside News reported that NXT is “definitely” going to see more profanity, and so will Raw. SmackDown is not getting the same treatment. They were told that SmackDown has “standards and practices” which prohibit WWE from going overboard with their colorful language. They can get away with some off-color jokes, like Roman Reigns’ joking about John Cena matches being like the “missionary position,” but they aren’t allowed to dive into any of George Carlin’s 7 Dirty Words.

Fans have noticed the promos cut by the talents but a word like “sh*t” isn’t going to make it by without the proper approval.
