Vince McMahon ‘Angry’ With WWE Announcer?

WWE Chairman recently pulled out Pat McAfee from the Throwback edition of Friday Night SmackDown. McAfee had done an impression of Vince that WWE decided to nix from the edition.

Why did Vince McMahon pulled McAfee out?

McAfee wore a throwback blazer on the Throwback SmackDown last week just like Vince used to wear back in the day on the Throwback SmackDown last week. They had a lot more in store for fans, but it did not air for the fans to see.

The Vince McMahon parody sketch was cancelled to air. However WWE later released it online. Pat McAfee later commented on the skit and said that they cancelled it out of the blue after he filmed it. Fans have been talking since then abour the decision. WWE Smackdown ‘Cancelation Threat’ Leaks

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the sketch was nixed because Vince McMahon felt like McAfee didn’t resemble a younger version of himself enough.

WON reported:

“We were told the reason McMahon cut if from the show is that McAfee didn’t look or sound like a young McMahon and he thought it looked stupid, comical in the wrong way. He felt that instead of what he was looking for, a parody of himself, he felt it was a parody of a parody.

Vince McMahon takes the final call in WWE and he did not want the segment to a parody of a parody. But in the end it was a entertaining segment and the good thing was that the fans got to witness and enjoy the same.
