Vince McMahon apparently had no intention of introducing WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Vince McMahon surprised everyone when he unveiled the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, which were rumored for a long time. However, it seems that Vince did not want the titles in the first place.

According to a report by Tom Colohue, he was told by a source in WWE that Vince McMahon had no intention of actually introducing the Women’s Tag Team Titles at all. He unveiled them owing to pressure, but he had no clue what he would do with the titles.

“Vince didn’t want women’s tag titles. He was under a lot of pressure so he brought them in early without thinking much about it. There was no plan. We still don’t know if there’s any plan.”

It is to be noted that Bayley had mentioned how Vince never gave the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles a chance. Even though both the fans and female superstars wanted the titles, Vince still had no idea what to do with the titles.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and we wonder whether their run will be any good.
