Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, WWE had to make drastic changes to how they produce shows. They also did quite a few last-minute changes to their weekly shows. One Superstar who certainly thrived in these conditions was Asuka and Vince McMahon has definitely noticed that.
According to a report by Wrestle Talk, Vince McMahon has noticed Asuka’s performance in recent weeks. It seems she has impressed McMahon and other higher-ups in the company. She is apparently seen as someone they can rely on during these times.
“Our sources noted that Vince and other WWE higher-ups have seen the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ as incredibly reliable during these challenging times.”
Asuka certainly loves her job and it shows. Ever since WWE moved to empty arenas, she has been given a lot of focus, making appearances on both brands.
She lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title at WrestleMania 36. So we will have to see what is in store for her.
