WWE blocks other company

Fightful Select reported that a source in WWE stated that if FOX wanted WWE programming so badly, then they could have bid the money that Peacock did. FOX owns a streaming platform, Tubi, and it has sparked controversy.

It was noted in the report that WWE stopped Tubi from inking a deal with another “third-party wrestling company” who had landed a deal with Tubi. MLW is the company in question.

A source close to Fox that Fightful spoke with indicated that WWE did not respond favorably to the deal, which was to be announced imminently after WWE was made aware. As a result, the future of that third party deal was in question.

FOX also rejected to comment on this story, also MLW and WWE declined to release an official comment on the matter.
