Vince McMahon Blocks WWE Stars From Quitting

Recently, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding WWE NXT and its stars, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. The two requested their releases from the company, citing their involvement with the Schism faction as the reason for their decision. Over the past few months, the Schism faction had grown in popularity, providing a bigger platform for Fowler and Reid’s tag team, The Dyad. However, there are still lingering questions about the status of these former Grizzled Young Veterans’ WWE contracts.

According to reports, members of the Schism faction were granted their releases from WWE NXT, but it seems that the situation may have changed since then. With all the recent changes happening within WWE, it’s difficult to say what’s going on with the situation right now.

During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation, stating that Fowler and Reid’s NXT releases may not be as cut and dry as initially thought. Meltzer revealed that while the duo had been telling people that they were released from their contracts, it’s possible that their release isn’t quite official yet.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding their WWE status, it’s worth noting that Fowler and Reid are still actively involved with NXT, at least for the time being. It remains to be seen whether or not they will appear on the show this week, but it’s clear that the situation is far from resolved.

What’s particularly interesting about this situation is that it could be indicative of a larger issue within WWE. With so many changes happening at once, it’s possible that wires are getting crossed, and there is confusion surrounding the status of various wrestlers.

It’s also worth noting that Fowler and Reid’s decision to leave NXT is somewhat surprising, given that they are part of a popular faction that includes The Rock’s daughter. The Schism faction has provided them with a significant amount of visibility, and it’s unclear what their departure would mean for the group.

For now, it seems that only time will tell what the future holds for Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. While they may want to leave WWE NXT, it remains to be seen whether or not they will be granted their releases. If they do leave, the Schism faction will be left with just two members: Joe Gacy and Ava.

“That’s up in the air now.

“They were telling people that they got the release. I actually heard from someone this morning in WWE and it was, ‘Yeah, they’re gone’, and then later in the day, it was like, ‘I don’t think they got the release’.

“They told people they did, but I got the impression that it’s not necessarily the case, as far as getting the release. So we will have to wait and see for the next couple of days how this all plays out.

“But I don’t think ‘officially officially’. They may have, but it was kind of indicated to me that maybe it wasn’t as official as they thought and everyone down there thought.”
