The man who has the scoop for us today is none other than The Nature Boy (WOOOO!) Ric Flair. That’s right, Ric Flair was a special guest recently on Conrad Thompson’s podcast where he spoke about his boss and close friend, Vince McMahon who backed down to the locker room some time ago. Ric Flair: “When they hired John they brought him back because things had gotten out of control. The talent was trying to tell the promotion – NOT Vince – they didn’t tell him to his face – they were trying to run the show. Now, John, he’s as diplomatic as can be. He’s as nice as he can be, but John can be tough. He learned that by bunking over in Japan.”
Flair closes: “He got to WCW too late. If he got there earlier there’s a good chance that the company wouldn’t have ended. He wouldn’t have put up with any of that crap. You can’t have a two minute match for twenty thousand people.”
