Vince McMahon Calls Out ‘Waste of Money’ In WWE

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon never came up with the idea of physical Hall of Fame. No reason has been clearly noted but there is one possibility why he did not like the idea.

Why Vince McMahon did not create Hall of Fame building?

WWE recently debuted a brand new show on A&E called “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.”

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are the hosts of the show who are exploring  the globe and are in search of the lost pieces of iconic pro wrestling accessories such as Ric Flair‘s robes, Kane’s mask, etc.

The recovered items are being brought back to a WWE warehouse. However, there is a possibility that they might eventually come up with the idea of a physical WWE Hall of Fame building where these would be kept.

The Most Wanted Treasures show has been discussed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer noted that WWE never considered the idea of a physical Hall of Fame is because Vince McMahon always found it to be a waste of money. Vince McMahon ‘Laughs’ At Major Raw Botch

Triple H on the other hand has been in support of the idea  for nearly a decade now but it is McMahon who calls the shots in the company.

WWE never did well in the real estate business as it is evident from the past experience. The WWF New York restaurant in Times Square did not last long, while The Las Vegas hotel and casino concept never clicked.

There were talks about bringing the WWE Hall of Fame to Universal City Walk in Orlando, Florida in 2016. But, it never went through.

As of now, the Axxess Fan Fest that is held during WrestleMania weekends is the only way for the WWE Universe to witness the memorabilia.
