Vince McMahon ‘Cancels’ Smackdown Title Change

Vince McMahon is WWE’s Chairman and oversees everything that goes on in the company, right to the very last detail. Vince McMahon also tore up the script before an MVP promo on Monday Night RAW.

Aleister Black had a great run in NXT as the NXT Champion and was booked quite well during his time in the gold and black brand. He was then called up to the main roster, where many fans said that he was underutilized and not booked properly at all. For a long time, he was absent from WWE television but finally made his return a couple of weeks ago on Friday Night Smackdown.

This was preceded by several mysterious vignettes that helped flesh out Aleister Black’s character. However, now it seems we have some very shocking and sad news to report as Aleister Black has been released by the company.

Aleister Black recently spoke on a Twitch stream with his wife Zelina Vega, where he revealed a nixed plan for him winning the WWE United States Championship.

“There was a moment where I was supposed to win, I think it was the U.S. Title, but then Vince’s consensus was I don’t want to have him win his first title in front of no audience. So there was always good stuff. There’s a lot of good stories, a lot of almost happened moments, so I can’t be negative.”
