Vince McMahon Cancels WWE Tag Team Breakup

With Vince McMahon officially disbanding the faction of Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods as The New Day, it would seem to be a bad and bold move to disband another team. With the WWE draft making the flow of things change direction in rapid fashion, what could be coming next in the tag team division? WWE Star Fell Asleep At Airport On Drugs.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will now be on Smackdown while Big E is staying on Raw, so we can say goodbye to The New Day as they once stood. The Street Profits were about to head this same direction, but at the very last second, it looks like they were saved from having to go through this. Between the two, fans seemed to have wanted The New Day to stay together a bit more, but it is what it is at this point.

As reported by PWInsider, WWE thought about splitting up the Street Profits during the Draft this year. Fortunately for the duo, they ended up going against that idea and placing the two on RAW along with Bianca Belair. The idea was replaced by WWE writers as they then instead ended up breaking Mace and T-Bar up. We will have to see how Mace and T-bar do with this change. Special thanks to Ringside News.
