Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building.
The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks was released as per the WrestlingInc and Raj Giri. New reports have emerged that noted her presence on the WWE’s internal roster. WrestleVotes stated that Sasha Banks has indeed been released from her WWE contract. However, PWInsider noted that she is seemingly with WWE. WWE doesn’t care anymore about Sasha Banks walkout. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the backstage opinion of the whole Banks situation has changed. This is because WWE talent no longer care about the whole ordeal.
Recently, WWE shared a Top 10 video featuring Paige’s greatest moments on their YouTube channel. At number five, The Anti-Diva’s return in 2017 was highlighted where she introduced the WWE Universe to her faction ‘Absolution’. She interrupted a match between The Boss and Mickie James. In the clip, the full focus is on James inside the ring and nothing on her opponent.
