Vince McMahon Changes WWE Backlash Main Event

It was previously reported that Bad Bunny and Damian Priest were pulling hard for the Backlash main event match. The two also closed out the press conference in San Juan on Friday.

The Judgment Day member Damian Priest will lock horns with Bad Bunny at Backlash on Puerto Rican soil. Priest and Bunny stole the show on the first night of WrestleMania 37 in 2021 in front of 40,000 fans at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. They picked up a huge tag team victory against The Miz and John Morrison. Now, a couple of years later, Priest will be standing toe-to-toe with Bad Bunny  in a San Juan Street Fight.

WWE seemingly changed the main event

It has come to light that Boozer 666 reported that Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes will main event the night, with the six-man tag team match going before that as a cooler after Bad Bunny and Damian Priest’s street fight.

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle vs The Usos and Solo Sikoa will apparently go second to last at Backlash according to this latest lineup.

Xero News tweeted out to Boozer and said that things have changed from the original lineup and he claimed that he received a confirmation that things will change. Apparently, things are changing late into the game as well.

“Guess will keep changing till late hours”

Brock Lesnar historically only wrestles on two spots on the card. If he’s not the main event match, then he will open the show. It appears that Lesnar vs Rhodes will not open the show in Puerto Rico, so that means the Beast Incarnate and The American Nightmare will battle in the main event.
