Bhatti stated: ““Ryan Ward was the big thing 3 years ago, they got him in from NXT. Him and Road Dogg didn’t get in at all, so he couldn’t get any ideas through. This was when Ryan Wards was there, and Smackdown was really good for a bit.

He wrote all the stuff with John Cena, Nikki Bella, The Miz, and Maryse. The match wasn’t good, but the TV was okay. Then Vince went over everybody’s head and put the belt on Jinder Mahal, when Orton was supposed to have it for a bit.”

In other news regarding Randy Orton, Orton’s uncle Barry Orton passed away at the age of 62. Working as an enhancement talent in the WWF, Orton worked as ‘Barry O’ during the years of 1985-1986 and again in the company in the early 1990s after a brief stint in prison.
