Cain Velasquez shocked everyone when he appeared during the end of Smackdown Live’s debut on Fox. He has not signed a contract yet but is certainly happy to be working with the company.
According to Brad Shepard on Oh, You Didn’t Know Patreon, Vince McMahon is not a fan of Cain’s physique and wants him to get in shape. Perhaps many in the company feel he is ‘skinny fat’ as Chris Jericho had said recently.
According to a source in WWE, Vince McMahon wants Cain Velasquez to get ripped, if he’s going to commit. The feeling is that he doesn’t look like a former UFC Heavyweight Champion right now (where as for example, Brock Lesnar does).
I’m told Velasquez is really nice and willing to learn
However, Cain does not have much time to ‘get ripped’ before his match with Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps he will tighten up if he stays in WWE for a longer time.
