WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had been concerned about holding WWE SummerSlam event in Las Vegas, Nevada at Allegiant Stadium due to the COVID-19 outbreak and mask mandate. It was reported that it could be moved to WWE ThunderDome. The event is just a few weeks away from holding ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’.
Vince McMahon is still eyeing to hold WWE SummerSlam at Allegiant Stadium
There was an indoor mask mandate for 12 counties in the state of Nevada including Clark County which is where Allegiant Stadium, an indoor domed facility, is located. However, WrestleVotes reported that the show is still being planned to take place at the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, with Vince McMahon and WWE speaking to Las Vegas officials on the phone. Some of the matches already announced for SummerSlam include WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. John Cena, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg, and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley. We will see where WWE SummerSlam ends up taking place.
