Vince McMahon never held any talks with Britt Baker
According to a report from Fightful Select, Britt Baker and WWE never had any formal talks about the deal. This was to avoid contract tampering. She did just re-sign a new AEW contract that will see her with the company for another multi-year term, but the belief was her contract was running up this year.
“We’re told formal conversations never took place, and that WWE never made an overture towards Baker as to avoid contract tampering.”
Baker is at the top-tier in the AEW Women’s Division, holding the Women’s world title.She recently registered a huge win in the main event of AEW Grand Slam against Ruby Soho to retain the title. It is needless to say that Tony Khan has so much faith in her as her featuring in the headliner of the show proved it.
