Vince McMahon Gets New Job After WWE Removal

Vince McMahon will remain head of WWE creative while Stephanie McMahon is interim CEO. Now former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recently got entailed in a controversial matter. The Wall Street Journal recently unveiled that WWE is investigating a secret $3 million settlement paid to a former employee of Mr. McMahon. The probe has also scooped several claims of misconduct from former employees toward The former Chairman and top executive John Laurinaitis.

WWE Board of Directors might have leaked the matter

It is not known which member leaked the story. There are twelve people on the board. Dave Meltzer discussed the source of the leak on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. Dave was not sure about who might have released the information but seems certain that it was a board member. Who that is is anybody’s guess.

“Obviously, there’s the big question of, ‘Who on the board of directors leaked it?’ You know, whatever. I mean, it’s a question, but I think it was probably somebody on the board. It may have been, the person who leaked it to the board and then leaking it and The Wall Street Journal finding out the dates and everything and then being told that from the outside.

John Laurinaitis was reappointed as the WWE’s Head of Talent Relations last year. Fightful Select provided an insight into the backstage reaction at the time, revealing that the female star had expressed frustration with the move. One talent stated that they’d rather get all their belongings sent to them in a trash bag when they get released than to have to deal with Laurinaitis, and neither of the options are good. The report also mentions that people in the company believe that Vince McMahon’s power is at stake and that John Laurinaitis could take the fall for him.
