Vince McMahon Gets Rid Of Lita In WWE?

WWE Hall of Famer Lita is seemingly off the WWE programming. It has come to light that she is already done with her latest run in Vince McMahon’s company.

Trish Stratus recently shocked fans by crossing over to the dark side. On the April 10 episode of WWE Raw, Stratus and Becky Lynch lost the Women’s tag titles to Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Stratus served as a replacement for Lita, who was attacked backstage earlier in the evening by a mystery assailant. Following the title match, Stratus brutally attacked Lynch.

Report on Lita

PW Insider Elite noted that Lita is off WWE television at this point. The creative team doesn’t have anything for her now, so it seems that dose of nostalgia is over:

“Lita has not been at any TVs since she was “attacked” backstage at Raw.  We haven’t heard of any plans for her to be used going forward at this time, but one would think she’ll be involved in the Trish Stratus story down the line. No one has told me this is the plan but Trish vs. Lita as a nostalgia attraction fits into what Saudi Arabia usually wants for those PPV events, so we will see if they go in that direction as creative plans are locked in.”

On this week’s Raw, Stratus cut her first heel promo in 18 years and berated the fans. She explained her actions and blasted Lynch for showing her proper respect. The 7-time WWE Women’s Champion further claimed that she was the trailblazer and paved the way for younger female talents in the early 2000s.

Becky Lynch is yet to respond to Stratus.
