Becky Lynch has been away from the WWE ring ever since she announced her pregnancy on the May 11 episode of RAW. She relinquished her RAW Women’s title on the episode and handed it over to Asuka.
Lynch is due to give birth in December and it is still uncertain when she will return to the ring. But according to reports, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon already has a match planned for her.
Becky Lynch possibly to return early next year
A recent report from WrestlingNews.co reveals that Vince McMahon is expecting Becky Lynch to be back in the ring by January or February next year. He has a feud planned for her with Ronda Rousey, which is likely to culminate in a WrestleMania 37 match.
“Vince is hoping for Becky to be back in January or February to start the one on one feud with Ronda.”
Ronda Rousey herself has been absent from WWE ever since her WrestleMania 35 match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. She stepped away from pro wrestling to start a family. But she is back training once again along with her husband Travis Browne.
Big thanks to @rondarousey & @travisbrownemma for the invite to do a little wrestling around. I’ve met a lot of people that come from different sports but none besides @therealkurtangle that have the respect for pro wrestling like she does. pic.twitter.com/i0vjd5vQI2

It was also reported earlier that Ronda Rousey has six months left on her current WWE contract. It means that she will still be under contract by the time WrestleMania 37 rolls around. Rousey is expected to return to the ring in a few months as well.
If both the Superstars return by January or February, 2021, there should be enough time to build up their feud ahead of WrestleMania 37.
Vince McMahon wants a fan-packed WrestleMania
It is no secret that Vince McMahon wants fans back in the arena and take WWE out of ThunderDome as soon as possible. The same source also added that McMahon is reluctant to do have a massive match like Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey with no fans present.
He expects fans to be allowed into stadiums by the time WrestleMania 37 takes place.
“Vince wants WrestleMania to be the show that says ‘WWE is back’. We can’t do Becky vs. Ronda in the ThunderDome with no fans. He wants the fans back and they will be back by the time Mania rolls around.”
