As more and more wrestlers are jumping ship from WWE to AEW and other shows, many are opening up about Vince burying them on the way out. Others have been seeing this as well-even outside of the business.
Edd6PI posted on the F4Wonline.com forums: “To be fair, there was a significant difference when Heyman was writing Raw. It wasn’t a good show, but it was watchable enough that I would record it and watch about an hour of it later in the week. Since he left, I stopped watching at all because it became shit.”
Our trustee friend, Dave Meltzer responded by stating: “Plus, everything about his booking was for 18 months later. He outright told Chris McCumber at USA that he was there to make new stars and revamp the show. The names he gave, Vince fucked pretty much every one of them except the Street Profits. Then Heyman was gone and then McCumber was gone.”
If Vince doesn’t come up with the idea, it’s almost sure to get buried.
