Vince McMahon impressed with match on Raw

There has been tons of praise going around for last night’s Raw Tag Title match between The Show and The Revival. And you can add Vince McMahon’s name to the list of people that were very impressed with the two tag teams.

Dave Meltzer noted on his latest Wrestling Observer Radio broadcast that he heard that “Vince really liked the match”. Considering the push Dolph and Drew have gotten, one would have to assume Vince was really impressed by the work of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.

While The Revival seemed to be destined for greatness after getting called up from NXT, injuries derailed their initial run on Raw. However, now fully healthy, Dash and Dawson seem back in prime form and have really impressed the past few months when given an opportunity.

No opportunity was bigger than last night’s, working with two men who are in Raw’s main event scene, and the former two-time NXT Tag champs did not disappoint. It will be interesting to see if The Revival get a push after the match last night, and eventually become the tag champs on the main roster that they seemed destined to be when they were first called up.

That match was the ONLY thing good on that show.

Vince liked the match in a show that did almost lowest ratings in history….hmmmm

Get over yourself man. The article is relevant and the match was great quality for Raw.

Dave Meltzer “That he ‘heard’.” Dave really needs to quit being the ACTUAL RUMOR mill starter and quit with the “oh, I heard this… I feel that”. Chummer… no one cares what you supposedly heard anymore. If this audience wanted a “feeling” they’d go to J.R..

I saw the match, like the millions AND MILLIONS of others. It was simple, insignificant and seemed like a regular “TAG TEAM” match. IF it was focused on hyping the “REVIVAL”, I’m sure that future vignettes would begin as “scripts” call for such. Otherwise… this article is arbitrary and is only a piece of “click-bait” to the RUMOR MILL. PERIOD.

If anything, Dolph Ziggler’s performance is STILL OVERLOOKED and it over-shadowed by this subsequent “focus on the Revival” article.

Surprise, Vince, the Revival are really good wrestlers. You think tag team wrestling is dead? That’s because you think you can just team up any two individuals and they will succeed as a team. There’s a thing called chemistry, not everyone has it. There’s also something called storytelling, and no, I’m not talking about the lines the creative team comes up with and the angle you run, I’m talking about in the ring. The Revival are really good at it. What they do makes sense, the quick tags, the cutting the ring off, the tandem offense. It’s not two single guys going in there working their spots and then tagging out to let the other guy do his stuff. It’s been a long time since there has been a team that has been this good. As a team they are better than probably just about any other tag team of the last twenty years.
