WWE Chairman Vince McMahon seems to be furious with Seth Rollins. ‘The Messiah’ was recently attacked by a fan on a recent edition of Monday Night RAW. The attacker, Elisah Spencer, 24, had jumped the barricade and tackled Rollins who was heading backstage. Spencer was handed over to NYPD following his attack on Rollins. He was charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts & cultural affairs (disrupting a live sporting/entertainment event).
Following the incident, Rollins received a lot of criticism from the notable names of pro-wrestling fraternity for ‘looking weak’ and it turns out that it also included the WWE Chairman. WWE Fired Two Stars Who Were At Airport
Vince McMahon was livid with Seth Rollins as the attacker got better of him
During a recent edition of Keepin’ It 100 OFFICIAL, Billi Bhatti went on to reflect on the incident and revealed that Vince had expressed his anger towards the attacker getting the better of Rollins.
Here what he said [as transcribed by Wrestling-Edge] :
“Vince McMahon was absolutely livid about the Rollins incident, not so much that it happened but he was livid because it appeared that the intruder got the better of Rollins. Now, this has been a take that’s been echoed by people like Chavo Guerrero, Ric Flair this week and that was Vince’s initial thing [reaction].”
Bhatti further revealed that:
“Vince had to be convinced by Bruce Prichard and other people close to him that Rollins applied an MMA hold and won the confrontation in the eyes of the fans.”
He went on to reveal that Rollins had walked away from Vince before they could come face to face and Rollins was told that Becky Lynch, his wife wanted to see him.
