Vince McMahon ‘Losing Money’ At WrestleMania 37?

Vince McMahon loves to run things in the WWE. The WWE is his child. It’s his baby. It’s his Shane and Stephanie. Well, maybe he loves it a little more than them too. Vince McMahon also loves his money. What Vince McMahon doesn’t love is losing that money. It looks like what we are about to talk about here could have Vince feeling pretty uneasy. On the recent episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’, Vince Russo and Billi Bhatti talked about many things including Vince and this years WrestleMania event that will be taking place rather quickly.

Billi had this to say: “WWE were not going to be authorized or insured for the 45,000 people a week that they wanted. They had to take their tickets off-sale. They had to re-configure their tickets for 25,000 people per night. The UFC, who really do wanna get back to normal, and really do want this big bang reset. Dana White wants to be the first to get this going. He has a full arena in Jacksonville with 15,000 people in April with full insurance and procedural costs covered.”

Bill continues: “So, Dana White is probably taking a loss on the event. I imagine to put on this kind of event for a 15,000 seat arena it would cost about $750,000. I guarantee you UFC paid about 1.5-2million on insurance and procedural costs to make sure they were #1 in coming back. He (Dana White) is the new Vince, I guess. When WWE were hit with the costs, they couldn’t do WrestleMania at that price. They would have made money, but not as much as they’re making. You make more money with 25,000 people than you do with 45,000.”
