Vince McMahon does what he wants in WWE and every decision goes through him before getting passed. He is known to change plans on the fly and also fire writers or producers who do not do things in his way. It seems that it has gotten more difficult to get access to him backstage in WWE.
Fightful Select reports that Jon Moxley’s shoot interviews are a major topic of discussion backstage in WWE. The statements Moxley made about Vince McMahon were confirmed.
It was said that Moxley’s interviews had more credibility than CM Punk’s and on top of that, there are others who feel the same as Moxley did before he parted ways with the company. Moxley would often feel depressed about WWE’s creative direction and felt suffocated. This was not limited to just Jon Moxley.
It has been reported that “Vince McMahon has built an infrastructure that makes him tough to gain access to with writers and producers that fear for their jobs.” They must tread lightly as Vince isn’t afraid of firing them if he wants to.
