We noted before how WWE announced yesterday morning that they are moving forward with the original plans for Crown Jewel and the event will be held in Saudi Arabia as planned.
During the 2019 third-quarter earnings conference call, Vince McMahon knew that questions will be raised about their decision so he made his statement at the very beginning saying that their previous statement says all they are going to say:
“We’re not going to talk a lot about that it’s a very sensitive subject. I think our statement says all we’re going to say about that today.”
The event was still brought up later in the call despite McMahon’s comments; however, this time too the WWE CFO George Barrios dodged this question with similar words:
Jason @ Citi #wweq3
Q: "Respecting you don't want to talk about Saudi Arbia, Can you frame what risks that relate to Saudi Arabia outside your control? Economic Sanctions risk?"
Barrios: "The complexity of the situation as Vince said. All our thoughts are in our statement."

With these statements, it appears WWE has decided not to talk much about their decision and hence it’s likely that the stars of the company will also refrain from commenting on the situation. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the company ends up not mentioning the show at all after November 2nd.
