Vince McMahon provided help to Harley Race prior to his passing

Harley Race passed away this past week at the age of 76. He was battling lung cancer towards the end and it seems that he had support from quite a few people, which includes Vince McMahon.

Trevor Murdoch took to Facebook and made a post which gave us a lot of details that were previously unknown. It is to be noted that Murdoch was very close to Harley Race. Murdoch gave details regarding Race’s worsening health and that Vince McMahon helped him during his last few days.

Race required to be transported but his Medicare wouldn’t provide that. Apparently, Vince McMahon almost instantly paid the required bill.

I just wanted to put this out there. Harley needed to be transferred from Atlanta to St.Louis. He needed to take a Med flight because he was in rough shape. Medicare wouldn’t help him. A call was made to WWE and 10 mins later it was paid in full. Vince McMahon never blinked an eye. He wanted to make sure Harley was taken care of.

Thank you Vince, you gave me 2 more days with Harley.

It is great that Vince provided some help to Harley Race during his final few days. Race will forever be remembered as a legend in professional wrestling and will be sorely missed.
