Vince McMahon Removes Shane McMahon From Raw

Braun Strowman is a former Universal Champion and was one of the mainstays of WWE Monday Night RAW. Despite being a massive monster as part of the storylines in the company, he is quite the opposite person in real life. Shane McMahon had been engaged in a feud with Braun Strowman for the past few months and it culminated in a steel cage match at WrestleMania 37, Shane demanded the feud and to put Braun over with his stroke backstage. In the end, Braun Strowman was the one who won the match despite Shane McMahon’s best efforts. Strowman would be released by the company last year.

Shane McMahon returned during the Men’s Royal Rumble match this year where he had a decent performance as well. He stood toe-to-toe with numerous WWE Superstars and that was not met well at all.

According to Ringside News, Shane McMahon was scheduled to be on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It was not revealed why Shane McMahon was absent, but plans for him have changed.

Elimination Chamber will be taking place on February 19th in Saudi Arabia. The company started work on booking that Elimination Chamber match this week on RAW, but Shane McMahon will not be in the match.

“Shane was supposed to be in the Chamber and Vince changed that today, with Theory replacing Shane.”

During an episode of the popular WWE series – After The Bell last year, ‘The Best in the World’ Shane McMahon discussed his popular Hell in a Cell against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.

“If you can be a real-life superhero for your kids that’s a pretty powerful thing. That was the opportunity that was given to me, to return on the biggest stage of them all at WrestleMania against arguably the most iconic and singular talent ever created, Mark Calaway, The Undertaker, who is also my longest-running friend in the business.

McMahon followed up by stating:

Main eventing WrestleMania, being a special attraction for it, that was tough to pass up,” he added. “We didn’t know where it was going to go, potentially it was going to be that one-and-done.”
