Vince McMahon ‘Removes’ Two WWE Raw Stars

Vince McMahon and WWE have pulled two stars from WWE Raw, and they are moving them to Smackdown. Vince McMahon ‘Regrets’ Samoa Joe Release?

Mia Yim (Reckoning) and Shane Thorne (Slapjack) will be moving to Smackdown after Retribution’s split, according to Post Wrestling.

WWE pushed Retribution as a top act last year for a brief period before burying them as the Job Squad 2020/2021.

Jim Ross hopes to see CM Punk make a return to either WWE Raw or AEW Dynamite, as he recently said on his podcast when discussing Punk vs. Randy Orton, “I thought they had a real good match. I’m a big fan of both guys, Randy and Phil Brooks. I always wished Phil Brooks was back in the business, at least on a part-time basis, because I think he has a lot to offer.

Not just as a bell-to-bell performer, but someone that has earned the respect of his peers and that he could help those guys. Those younger guys that were marks for CM Punk’s work, his attitude, being defiant and somewhat controversial…I don’t know how those two guys could have a bad match. I wish Punk was still in the game. Maybe he will be someday.” Vince McMahon has brought back part timers like Goldberg, so it is entirely possible.
