Vince McMahon Removes WWE Diva From PPV

WWE Hell In A Cell Premium Live Event recently concluded at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. While the card was stacked with some huge matches but it missed some huge stars including Ronda Rousey who is the reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. It turns out she was locally advertised for the event.

Ronda Rousey was reportedly advertised for Hell In A Cell

On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Rousey’s exclusion from the event. Ronda was advertised locally in the Chicago market for Hell in a Cell. However, WWE did not book her for a match. Meltzer said the following:

“They took Ronda off the show and she was advertised locally. They could’ve put her on, but as we talked about this morning, for whatever reason, the decision was made to hold that match off. They’ve got to put a card together for Vegas, I guess, so maybe that’s where they’re going to do that, or who knows what?”

Natalya recently became the #1 contender for Ronda Rousey’s title. That match was scheduled for an undetermined future date. Money in the Bank in Las Vegas looks like the most likely destination, although it could have been done in Chicago, especially after WWE advertised an appearance by Rousey.

WWE has multiple huge stadium shows coming up shortly. The company will hold off on the biggest matches until major stadium events like SummerSlam and Clash at the Castle. We will have to see when the match is booked by the company as the fans wait for the same.
