Vince McMahon ‘Replaced’ At WWE Smackdown?

Time waits on no man and Vince McMahon is not an exception. The head of WWE is getting older and with that comes a slower pace of life. Could there be a reason why Vince is slowing down? WWE Raw ‘Leaving’ Monday Rumor Leaks.

On the most recent episode of the acclaimed ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Sheet’ show, we are once again pleased to hear the sounds of Billi Bhatti and Vince Russo as they took us on another field trip through the world of imagination and wonder that is professional wrestling.

During the segment I’ll be going over from the show with you; Bhatti and Russo are speaking about why Vince McMahon has been showing up later and later for TV at Smackdown and Raw. They speculate a bit, but it should be noted that not everyone can stay young forever and Vince McMahon is climbing up higher and higher in age. Could age be slowing down the boss?

Bhatti: “At the moment, he’s turning up late for TV and some days he actually ends up going back to Stamford which he wasn’t doing before. A lot more has been handed over to Bruce, Triple H, Michael Hayes, and all those people. It’s just a case of overseeing scripts and things.”

Bhatti continues: “Also, he’s been making these surprise appearances around about 5:30pm-6pm not telling Triple H or Stephanie…”

Russo interjects: “Is he turning up bro because he’s lost? Like, does he not know why he’s there, bro? Does he just turn up, bro, and not know why, bro?”

Bhatti: “I don’t know. They get to TV and Vince is not there. He’ll tell people he’s not gonna be there and then he’s there. Some weeks he wasn’t there at all. He’s been very very odd.”

Russo: “When you hear about that. Are you hearing who takes over? Is it Bruce? It is Triple H who takes over in Vince’s absence?”

Bhatti: “It is Triple H who takes over. The problem is is that there’s no development because Vince isn’t there to sign anything so it’s holding back shows. It’s holding back producers.”
