Vince McMahon Replacing Stephanie With Big Name

Vince McMahon and Nick Khan will search for a full time replacement for Stephanie McMahon to become Chief Brand Officer, PWInsider reports. Sasha Banks is also on hiatus from WWE for a very different reason.

Sasha Banks and Naomi took some controversial actions and walked out of the arena during RAW. There have been various reports regarding the incident, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building.

It has been speculated that Banks and Naomi reportedly won’t be fired. It has been recently noted on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown that Sasha Banks and Naomi have also been indefinitely suspended from WWE and had their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles stripped. Even their merchandise was pulled from the online shop.

The situation has gotten worse

WrestleVotes provided an update to confirm that things are going to get much worse before they get better for The Boss and The Glow. It was also claimed that the two have a “majority” of online support, though anyone with a business mind understands how what they did is inexcusable, and that includes WWE management.

“After talking to a few people, I gather this Sasha / Naomi situation is going to get worse before it gets any better. While the majority of the support online is in their favor, its quite the opposite with management.”

Naomi and Sasha Banks were scheduled to be a part of a six-pack challenge on the May 16 episode of Raw. The match was to feature Naomi, Sasha, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Nikki A.S.H., and Doudrop. The winner was to get a shot at Bianca Belair‘s Raw Women’s Championship. The main event was altered as Asuka defeated Lynch in a singles match. It is to be seen what the future hold for the two WWE superstars.
