While the new creative director of SmackDown Eric Bischoff reportedly has started his stint, it will be a while before he takes over the show completely.
In the meantime, Vince McMahon is still the boss and this was evident from his actions regarding this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Vince McMahon called in the SmackDown creative team on the day of the show and rewrote the whole episode:

It’s unknown how many changes McMahon made to the show but there was a match between the IIconics and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville which was originally expected to be a part of the episode but was later nixed.
