Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He appeared on SmackDown last night in a John Cena video. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. His son-in-law Triple H is now the Executive Vice President of Talent and Relations as well. Vince McMahon also lied about quitting WWE recently but ended up being real in the end.
Every member of Vince McMahon’s family has been a part of WWE in some way. His wife, Linda, served as the CEO of the company for a long time, while his son Shane has been considered the Man Without Fear for his in-ring work and being a minority owner. Finally, Stephanie McMahon, his daughter, currently reigns over WWE as the co-CEO alongside Nick Khan.
Former WWE star Maven recently stated that Triple H is the ideal son that Vince McMahon always wanted to have as opposed to his two children during an interview with Monte & The Pharaoh.
“Vince always wanted the son like Hunter. He always wanted the big, jacked up, great wrestler son. Shane was fearless and could go out there and do whatever, but he was never gonna be the wrestler that Vince probably wanted. Stephanie had the business, just the knowledge for what the business should be. I don’t know if either of them probably lived up to what Vince would’ve wanted, however, I don’t think anyone could have. I think what Vince had in his mind as the perfect offspring doesn’t exist. It’s probably John Cena’s body with The Rock’s charisma mixed with Triple H’s in-ring work, and that person just doesn’t exist.”
