Vince McMahon is apparently having trouble remembering things at WWE shows, according to The Disco Inferno on RussosBrand.com, who communicates with current WWE employees.
Disco said Vince had a ‘meltdown’ at Raw last week. He said, “He literally is forgetting things that happened the week before.” As people age they can have medical issues when it comes to memory, and sadly this may be happening to WWE’s chairman.
Vince McMahon is WWE’s Chairman and oversees everything that goes on in the company, right to the very last detail. Ronda Rousey match also outraged Vince McMahon.
WWE have released Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett, and Buddy Murphy. The reason cited was part of budget cuts, and Strowman was being paid $1.2 million per year according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The former WWE Universal Champion signed a new contract in October 2019, so the budget cut regarding Strowman is the WWE’s biggest saving financially from all of the talent cuts in the last year plus during the pandemic.
After that, they also released Bray Wyatt and more NXT Superstars such as Bronson Reed and Bobby Fish. Now NXT is set to undergo a massive change including a new logo and Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will be taking charge of the black and gold brand.
According to Ringside News, Vince McMahon did not appear backstage at Friday Night Smackdown this week. It was said that Vince McMahon was still “on the phone all day long in control.” The show went as he instructed, despite him not being there at all.
We wonder if he will be present for next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown at Madison Square Garden.
