Vince McMahon has been WWE Chairman since 1982 when he bought WWE from his father Vince Sr and his partners. McMahon saw quite a few changes in his company over the last few decades on top of that. All through that, the WWE Chairman continued to adapt to the changing times.
However, many fans now feel that he is out of touch and simply has no idea what is good for a WWE Superstar and their growth. The WWE Chairman is larger than life in many ways and he also has his own oddities and problems as well. He also threatened a WWE star in a recent gym video. Vince McMahon has been accused of an affair.
Vince McMahon has stepped down as CEO of WWE while the investigation is ongoing. His daughter, Stephanie McMahon, has since been moved into his position on an interim basis. McMahon is still in charge of creative for the company.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Outlaws, Road Dogg claimed Vince McMahon had no idea who many NXT stars were.
“Some of the guys that work on the underneath shows that show in the elevator, going up to the fourth floor is the only time he sees some people and he’ll see NXT people in there and go, ‘Hey, who’s so and so?’ Do you know what I mean? And that starts a conversation, but the man works a lot.”
